Circular 32/2012/TT-BYT dated January 4th 2012 of the Ministry of Health on medical control when enter or exit Vietnam.

People who enter, exit or transit through the Vietnam border has to make the medical report to prevent and combat infectious diseases regulated by the Ministry of Health.

The medical report must be made at the Vietnam border when completing procedures for entry, exit, transit or not earlier than 7 days.

Ministry of Health will announce the application of medical report in the following cases:

– The state management agencies have decision to announce the infectious disease;

– Ministry of Health has written notification about infectious disease situation occurred abroad or there are risk factors appeared that could affecting public health.

These are regulated in Circular 32/2012/TT-BYT regulating the health declaration for entry, exit and transit at the border of Vietnam.

Circular takes effect from February 1st 2013.
