Amend article 170 of Vietnam law on enterprises

The Vietnam laws on enterprises have some developments with article 170 of Law on enterprises adjusted.  National Assembly session 13 has formally adopted Law No. 37/2013/QH13 Amending and Supplementing Article 170 of the Law on enterprises in Vietnam.   This new laws help enterprises re-register to manage the organization and operate under this Law and related Laws.  Foreign-invested enterprises established before Jul 1st, 2006 and the license expires after Jul 1st, 2006 but not yet implemented dismissal procedures, and wishes continue to operate, they must register before Feb 1st, 2014.  The re-registration shall take effect from the expiry date indicated on the former investment license.  Enterprises shall be allowed to adjust, add business lines in absence of changes in the duration of operation recorded in the investment license. In case of changes in duration of operation or adjustment, supplementing additional business lines that make changes in duration of operation stated in the investment license, enterprises will have to re-register again with Vietnam government authority according to point a of this article.  This law is effective since Aug 1st, 2013.  ANT Lawyers, your lawyer in Vietnam.
