Mr. Tuan Nguyen is the Managing Partner of ANT Lawyers and responsible for the management and strategic direction of the firm. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Nguyen has advised and represented clients including multinational companies seeking to establish, operate and resolve legal disputes in Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen obtained a B.A Degree from Foreign Trade University, Vietnam, LL.B. Degree from Hanoi National University – School of Law, Vietnam, and MBA Degree from Warwick Business School, United Kingdom with exchange to Australian Graduate School of Business (AGSM), Australia. He is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association, Vietnam Bar Association.
Mr. Nguyen is also a Weinstein JAMS International Fellow of the year 2020-2021, he attended the practical trainings in San Francisco office of JAMS between Aug-Oct 2023, a United States based program intended for individuals that demonstrate experience and commitment to the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Mr. Nguyen has been accredited as Mediator by UK based CEDR, Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution and by Hanoi Department of Justice in 2019. Mr. Nguyen also completed the Stage 1 of Program of the Institute for the Development of Arbitration (PIDA 1) training by International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Court of Arbitration and is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).
Mr. Nguyen has worked for and with a number of MNCs, State Owned Enterprise (SOE), and private enterprises in various positions in management, compliance, and in-house counsel in telecom, shipping and transportation, financial institutions before practicing law. He lived in the United States for two years between 2003-2005 and worked with Maersk Inc.
The experience in both business and legal practice, and the understanding of how Vietnam Government Agencies operate and make decisions help Mr. Nguyen provide clients achieve effective and compliant outcomes in an ever changing regulatory environment.
