Circular 01/2013/TT-BNNPTNT dated January 4th 2013 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the food safety certificate of new agricultural products

From February 17th, the businesses producing agricultural materials and agricultural, forestry and fishery products that are classified as A or B will be granted certification of qualified food safety if required.

Accordingly, the application for food safety certification includes:

– An application for a certificate of food safety

– A copy of business registration

– Notes to facilities, equipment, tools

– List of owner and employees that have been trained for food safety

– List owner and employees certified for good health.

Authorized agencies that issue the certificate for food safety including General management departments under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, specialized agencies of the Department of Agriculture, professional agencies under the district people’s committee.
