Circular 05/2013/TTLT -BTP-BNG-BCA on the changes in the application for certification of nationality

From March 16th 2013, individuals want to confirm Vietnamese nationality in the case that their residences do not have representative agencies then they will submit dossiers at the concurrently agencies or the most convenient representative agencies.

Besides, the application for confirmation of nationality has also changed and will include: the declaration of Vietnamese nationality confirmation, copy of ID card – passport or alternative papers, papers in accordance with Article 11 of the Nationality Law of 2008.

Without the verifying citizenship papers, individuals may submit curriculum vitae and other documents in accordance with the provisions of Clause 1, Article 10 of Circular 05/2010/TTLT-BTP-BNG-BCA .

The time to issue the Vietnamese nationality remains the same which is within 5 working days from when there are sufficient evidences to affirm.

The above contents are regulated in Circular 05/2013/TTLT-BTP-BNG-BCA, amending the Article 13 of Circular 05/2010/TTLT-BTP-BNG-BCA.
