Circular 12/2013/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance on the reduction of steel import tax

From March 7th 2013, the preferential import duty for steel will be reduced from 5% to 3%.

Accordingly, the steel that will be reduced on tax must be the non-alloy steel wire HS code 7217.10.39, regulated in the preferential import tariff in Appendix II of the Circular 193/2012/TT-BTC.

This is regulated in the Circular 12/2013/TT-BTC, amending Circular 193/2012/TT-BTC.
