Today, the consumers have many chances to know many different goods and have many choices for their demand throughout media, communications, newspaper, magazines etc. However, many producers have taken advantage of advertising activities to show dishonest information about their goods such as: quality, effect, design etc. To protect the consumers, The Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the Circular No. 40/2012/TT-BTC dated December 21, 2012 regulating in issuance Certificate of foods content advertising.
Applied object: Organizations and individuals, who producing, processing, packing and selling products such as wine, beer, soft drinks, processed milk, vegetable oil, material of processing starch, starch, bread, jam, candy to be advertised in Vietnam (hereafter as business).
A dossier of registration the content advertising is only applied for advertised content of a kind of goods. The content can be used on many measures of different advertisements (media published communications, in wrapping, in posters, newspaper). The content of foods will be allowed advertised nationwide after having been accepted and be issued Certificate of foods content advertising by the competent authorities.
