Decision 03/2013/QD-TTg on delaying the time required for labeling equipments

Household electrical appliances such as fluorescent tube, electric cooker, electric fans will be delayed the time for energy labeling to 6 months, starting on July 1st 2013.

The above point in time is also applies to the group of industrial equipments including electric motors, three-phase distribution transformers.

Particularly the electronic devices such as refrigerators, horizontal cage washing machines, cameras were delayed to one year, starting energy labeling from January 1st 2014.

From January 1st 2015, the production and import of home appliances that have lower energy efficiency than the minimum energy efficiency will be banned.

This is the information stipulated in Decision 03/2013/QD-TTg, amending and supplementing Decision 51/2011/QD-TTg and entered into force on January 15th 2013.
