Update

Vietnam International Trade Regulations Updated

ANT Lawyers – Jul 7th, 2013.  There have been changes in the legal procedures in Vietnam in regard to the regulations related to international trade.  In particular, the licensing for temporary import and re-export of used goods, frozen food, imported goods with special consumption tax have been adjusted.  The Ministry of Industry and Trade Vietnam issued Decision No. 3623/QD-BCT to regulate the legal guidance.  Under the the same decision, nine administrative amendments and supplements have been made, including:

  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preference for footwear exports to EU
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential AAN
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential A
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential AJ
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential AK
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential D
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential E
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential D
  • Issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) form with preferential VJ

This decision shall be effective from Jun 4th, 2013.
