Customers must pay a fee for gold safekeeping service and will not receive any interest, income, fees or other amounts.
The credit institutions will strictly follow those contents when providing keeping gold services.
It is one of the main requirements of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to regulate the activity of gold safekeeping of credit institutions in Document No. 7935/NHNN-QLNH issued on December 3rd 2012.
Attached is the sample report on the situation of gold kept, the credit institution must send this report to the SBV no later than the 5th day each months.
Document takes effect from the date of issuance.
