Free road use fee for the poor

Motorcycles of poor households will be exempt from road use fee as prescribed in Circular 197/2012/TT-BTC guiding Decree 18/2012/ND-CP.

In addition, vehicles used for public purposes such as ambulances, fire… also free of charge.

Owners, using means of transportation other than the above cases are required to pay fees from January 1st 2013, except for vehicles damaged by accidents, natural disasters or confiscated.

Fees for motorcycles is 50,000 – 100,000 VND / year depending on each types of vehicles. Especially for car will be flexible to pay in months or years, with a fee for less than 10 seats car is 130,000 VND / month and 1,560,000 VND / 12 months.
