Circular 227/2012/TT-BTCÂ of the Ministry of Finance guiding the establishment, operation and management of the securities investment company
The portfolio structure of the public securities investment companies must comply with the provisions of the charter of the securities investment company and is restricted by such conditions below:
– Not to invest more than 15% of the total value of the outstanding securities of an issuer, except Government bonds;
– Not to invest more than 20% of the total asset value of the company’s assets in securities and other types of asset such as cash, valuable papers, negotiable instruments that are issued by the same organization, except Government bonds;
– Not to invest more than 10% of the total asset value of the company in real estate.
Other additional conditions are specified in the Circular 227/2012/TT-BTCÂ guiding the establishment, organization and operation management and investment company securities.
Circular takes effect from July 1st 2013.
