Decision 02/QD-VSD dated January 8th 2013 of the Vietnam Securities Depository on the recovery of the certificate for securities depository member:
When recovering the certificate for securities depository member, the Vietnam Securities Depository will stop providing services related to the registration, clearing, custody, except for the following cases:
– Client requests for the transfer of all accounts (or all of the securities and the related rights) to another depository members.
– Exercise the right of the securities owner.
– Clearance of stock mortgage.
– Adjust the information of investors.
These new regulations are mentioned in Decision 02/QD-VSD dated January 8th 2013 of the Vietnam Securities Depository, replacing Decision 39/QD-VSD and 73/QD-VSD.
Decision takes effect from January 8th, 2013
