Circular 40/2012/TT-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the conditions for granting certificate of advertising content

The businesses producing and doing business on wine, beer, soft drinks, processed milk, vegetable oil, confectionery products should only advertise when have certificate of advertising content.

Conditions for businesses to be granted certificate of advertising content include:

– Have the full and valid advertising content registration documents

– Food products meet the conditions on food safety in accordance with law and not prohibited for advertising

– Advertising content must be accurate and consistent with the quality and safety of food as announced and registration.

Department of Science and Technology, Department of Trade and Industry receives, evaluate registration dossier, grant and manage the certificate of food advertising content.

The Circular 40/2012/TT-BCT takes effect from February 3th 2013.
