New fees on issuing visa, passport and temporary residence card of foreigners

According to Circular No. 190/2012/TT-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance in November 09th, 2012 on amendment, supplement the Circular No. 66/2009/TT-BTC issued by  the Ministry of Finance in regulating the regime on collection, remittance, management and use of fees on passport, visa and papers on entry, exit, transit and residence in Vietnam, the fees on issuing visa, passport and temporary residence card for foreigner and the Vietnamese in foreign countries will increase compared with the current rates as follows:

a) Valid for less than 01 month USD 65 No regulation
b) Valid for less than 06 months USD 95 USD 65
c) Valid for 6 months or more USD 135 USD 100
3 Transfer of validity of visas or temporary residence from expired passports to new passports USD 15 USD 10
4 Temporary residence cards:
a) Valid for up to 1 year USD 80 USD 60
b) Valid for between over 1 year and 2 years USD 100 USD 120
c) Valid for between over 2 year and 3 years USD 120 USD 140
