Circular 05/2013/TT-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regulating the temporary import for re-export
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Circular 05/2013/TT-BCT regulating the temporary import for re-export activities, which has a number of adjustments to the list of permitted goods to temporary import for re-export.
For frozen food, it is allowed to temporary import for re-export for chicken thighs. Items such as intestines, bladders and stomachs of animals (other than fish) are categorized under suspension of temporary import for re-export activities.
For used consumer goods, the list of temporary suspension import for re-export has 13 groups of new items and discard the group of rubber and rubber products.
In addition, the Circular has also reduced the time to storage of the temporary import for re-export goods in Vietnam from 120 days to 45 days.
Circular takes effect from April 4th 2013.
