Decree No. 04/2013/ND-CP on the closing of inactive notary office
For Notary Offices those are inactive for a period of 6 months or more from the date of issuance of the registration or the Office that does not work for 3 consecutive months, the Justice Department will revoke the registration of office. This is now regulated in Decree 04/2013/ND-CP.
When revoked registration, Notary Office will stop operation.
In addition, Notary Offices that no longer have notaries (dismissed or death) also will be revoked registration.
Decree takes effect from February 25th 2013 and replaces Decree 02/2008/ND-CP dated April 1st 2008.
